HITMAN
2 - Silent Assassin Time to get serious. You play a retired hitman who gets pulled back into the game. Heavies are after you and it's time to do the right thing - even if you know it will be stained with blood from your bullets. As ex-hired killer 47, the bald, suit & tie-wearing seeker of redemption found himself in Sicily as caretaker of a church. But trying to forget the bloodstained past is not as easy when it catches up. Padre Vittorio is kidnapped with a ½ million-ransom demand. Guiseppe Guilliano is the main suspect. 47 contacts Diana at the old agency for info, but it will come at a deadly price - a few jobs needing to be done in return. You're equipped with your twin pistols and a fibrewire (for close contact, silent elimination). You also have a lock pick and knife to get in and out of certain situations. Stealth is of the essence and you can get into disguises to infiltrate, snipe from a distance or go for close contact kills. The shed on the church grounds is where a range of weapons and acquired items get stored, like handguns, rifles, automatics, crossbows and even an axe, for when they're needed. It is quite brutal in that you can shoot anything, even the pigs in the pen and doves in the trees (!). The strong cinematic style and operatic music adds to the dramatic flair, coupled with intense action and strategic, lethal planning. 5 / B - PB 1 2 3 4 5 6 A - B - C |
