ONIMUSHA 3 - Demon Siege
Two times collide as the battle against the evil Nobunaga continues. The lead roles are modeled on French actor Jean Reno (who plays Jacques Blanc), and Eastern hero Takeshi Kaneshiro (portraying Akeshi Samanosuke). This action adventure battle game traverses five centuries, as the times of our two heroes overlap, Samanosuke ends up in Paris 2004, the streetwise city cop back in a 15th century pre-technology age. The story & music is crafted with cinematic stylistics. The Gemna, demonic samurai troops spread havoc and you can deal with them by using ninja sword fighting, firearms as well as archery. When you kill an enemy during the barrage of fierce battles, you absorb their power as it escapes their bodies. You'll encounter protective mirrors where you can enhance equipment and save progress. During Training you get to learn all the Onimusha techniques and the Oni arts. You learn more as you advance. Souls stealing Orbs, maps, herbs and other useful items are scattered throughout the varied levels. You can unlock special features, set the violence level and choose blood colour - unless it's a concerned parent doing the settings, I don't know how many of you would change the good old red blood hue (unless the green horror look is more to your liking).
