- Motion Picture Soundtrack
As to be expected, this high-octane comic book action adventure adaptation
gets a hard rocking soundtrack. But, what makes this so much more special
to us South Africans is the inclusion of a track by local lads Seether,
formerly known as Saron
Gas
(signed to American Wind-Up Entertainment). 20 smackers include
a range of bands and artists like the crunching sounds of Drowning
Pool
with Rob
Zombie,
mid-paced rock band Fuel,
the less explosive Saliva
and The
Calling,
Incubus-clones
Hoobastank
and Canadian rockers Nickelback.
Several new bands get a huge crack at it, like Chevelle,
Paloalto,
Revis,
Boysetsfire,
Finger
Eleven,
Auto
Pilot Off,
Endo,

Stone
and the female fronted Evanescence
appearing twice (?). The Daredevil Theme remix is by Graeme
Revell and
Mike
Einziger.
Moby
contributes a moment of electronic clarity amid the rock & roll while
the collaboration between Nappy
Roots,
POD
and Marcos
Curiel
offer up a diverse tune of vocal harmony, rapping, metal oomph and pop.
