FINAL DESTINATION 3

With Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ryan Merriman, Kris Lemche, Alexz Johnson, Alexz Johnson, Sam Easton, Jesse Moss, Texas Battle, Gina Holden

Written by Glen Morgan & James Wong (based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick)

Directed by James Wong

The director of the first Final Destination returned for this 3rd chapter. Death is still doing its thing, and this time round (another) group of high school kids become its target when one of them has the expected premonition causing several of them to get off a roller coaster before its deadly crash. They start to figure out what the deal is and realize that photographs taken at the fun fair may depict how they'll die - which includes sun beds, a nail gun, a piece of exercise equipment and a car engine's fan. Lots of hilarious splatter and gore with some good performances amid the ludicrous mayhem as our teens try to avoid death's craftiness.
While all of these movies have some classic death sequences as its backbone, Wong's chapters are the coolest.

Extensive extra features include an in-depth making-of documentary, a featurette looking at the “Dead Teenager Movie” genre, a funny animated short looking at death entitled “It's All Around You”, trailers and TV spots, as well as a feature length filmmaker commentary track for more in-depth details.
You can also choose to watch the original theatrical version, or “Choose Their Fate!” where you decide the course of the outcome.
