THE HAMILTONS

With Cory Knauf, Samuel Child, Joseph McKelheer, Mackenzie Firgens, Brittany Daniel

Written & Directed by The Butcher Bros. aka Mitchell Altieri & Phil Flores

This low budget indie effort of a family with a dark secret has its pros and cons. Pro number one is the original approach to a well-known theme, and the biggest con being the protracted nature of the narrative. I don’t know if it’s just me who feels some feature films would’ve worked much better had it been condensed into a short, or whether more movie-makers fail to flesh out their stories enough to engage an audience.
But, don’t let this stop you, it is worth the watch, especially if you have movie making aspirations of your own.
