THE UNBORN

With Odette Yustman, Gary Oldman, Meagan Good, Cam Gigandet, James Remar

Written & Directed by David S. Goyer

Losing her mother had a lasting effect on Casey (played by the rather attractive Odette Yustman (last seen in Cloverfield). The dark reason for her mother's death becomes clear when strange dreams and visions start to plague her. These become dangerously real. What she discovers is that an evil spirit which had made its presence known during the 2nd World War has been trying to be reborn in a physical form and has targeted her - which leads to calling in the help of an exorcist.
The Unborn is a rather creepy flick with some good scares, directed by the David S. Goyer (who wrote the new Batman movies, directed Blade Trinity, and produced Ghostrider). The Unborn is co-produced by big budget spectacle director Michael Bay who'd been quite busy in the genre producing remakes of legendary movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hitcher, Friday The 13th, and A Nightmare On Elm Street.

This is the extended version not seen in cinemas, and additional DVD material includes deleted scenes.
