THE WARRIOR'S WAY

With Dong-gun Jang, Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush, Danny Huston, Tony Cox, Lung Ti

Written by Sngmoo Lee & Scott Reynolds
Directed by Sngmoo Lee

East meets West in a spectacular way with a virtually unstoppable assassin in China refusing to kill the last infant heir to his enemy clan. This places him in the fatal position of his own people wanting his head. On fleeing to the American West with the baby, he meets up with a rundown town's ex-carnival misfits, aiming to integrate and lie low. The townsfolk have a demon of their own and his past is close on his heels. The CGI filled production design adds a dreamlike fantasy quality which enhances it far more than if it had been shot on location somewhere in Colorado.

Extreme Eastern-flavoured action scenes bring a new dimension to the Western setting and makes up for the highly annoying character portrayal by Kate Bosworth.
