WHITE ZOMBIE

With Lugosi are Madge Bellamy, Joseph Cawthorn, Robert Frazer
Directed by Victor Halperin

This all time classic Bela Lugosi film was produced in 1932, a year after his landmark role as
Dracula. A young couple (Neil and Madeleine) gets married in Haiti at the behest of their new friend Monsieur Beaumont – but he in fact wants the girl. He approaches Legendre, a man whose zombie subjects submit to his mind control. When the spell is cast over Madeleine, Beaumont cannot undo his disastrous actions as Neil grieves, believing his new wife to be dead. But, Legendre has plans of his own.
