ZOMBIELAND

With Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Bill Murray, Amber Heard, Derek Graf

Written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick
Directed Ruben Fleischer

If you missed the exclusive pre-release screening of Zombieland at the 2009 South African HORRORFEST, now is your chance to catch this wild and crazy ride across an undead USA.
Since 28 Days Later the zombie genre has been the horror theme seeing the biggest revival. This comedy injects more vigour into the undead as our survivors in a world over-run by zombies trek cross-country to find refuge (and Twinkies). They include Eisenberg and Harrelson's characters - two polar opposites. The one is a neurotic nerd still hoping to find true love (whose tips for surviving Zombieland make for a fantastic movie intro), while the other is a no-shit Southern ass-kicker.
They meet their match in a sister team whose survival skills give the men a good run for their money.
With the gore coming up second to the funny moments, it is by no means absent. One fantastic addition to this splatter-comedy is Bill Murray playing himself.
Zombieland is by far one of the most fun-filled flesh-eating flicks of the year.
