DARK SIDE
The UK's top Horror Mag "of the macabre and fantastic" is
a blood-drenched feast for rabid fans of the genre. What makes this
a winner is the regular space dedicated to looking back at genre pioneers
on both sides of the lens. From classics and more rare flicks, to material
weirder than your mainstream glossy releases (like European exploitation
filmmakers). But, the mainstream material does not get neglected though.
Extensive space is given to fan letters venting their praise or disgust
at whatever the Horror entertainment world throws at them. Each issue
editor Allan Bryce also gives his readers an ongoing A-Z of Horror movie
list. Dark Side has also published a variety of books on the
genre, like that of Video Nasties and Italian Horror,
and release gory DVDs that include double features. - PB
