girl kocked hornet nest THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET'S NEST (Part 3 of 3 movies)

With Michael Nyqvist, Noomi Rapace, Lena Endre, Annika Hallin, Jacob Ericksson, Sofia Ledarp, Anders Ahlbom, Georgi Staykov, Mirja Turestedt

Written by Ulf Ryberg (based on the novel by Stieg Larsson)
Directed by Daniel Alfredson

The conspiracy unearthed in the The Girl Who Played With Fire becomes a part of Lisbeth's court case where she stands accused of murder (with Blomkvist fighting on the outside to clear her name). But there is no way she'll lie down and take it, with damning information waiting to explode.

The linking threads built up across these three movies come together perfectly.

Often the only Swedish movies people know are bleak art flicks like that of Bergman, but with this Larsson trilogy it takes a more mainstream (albeit intense and adult) turn. Truly a cinematic triumph highlighting serious issues while sculpting superb suspense, action and shocks, and giving the movie world another brilliant female heroine.
